Confidence and Kindness.
Gaining confidence comes from skill, knowledge and believing in yourself. It means you are willing to stand up for your opinions and beliefs. Being confident is not being mean, cold, stubborn, arrogant, or self-centered. It means that you are proud of what you know and who you are. In our confidence we find our kindness, our diplomacy, and our strength. We can strongly disagree with someone and be confident in our opinion but at the same time be diplomatic. We can disagree at an IEP and file a due process, with strength and determination, without losing the confidence and kindness that makes us extraordinary.
