In order to campaign on behalf of others we need to ensure that we are strong enough to successfully do it. This means taking active steps to educate ourselves as to how to successfully advocate for others. Advocacy is no simply task, it can be overwhelming, frustrating, and sometimes disheartening. An advocate or attorney must not only have a knowledge of a parents rights but also a good understanding of what can be successfully achieved for a child in the context of the individual situation.
